Who will step up to challenge Jinder Mahal?
Following the Punjabi Prison match at “Battleground,” WWE Champion Jinder Mahal escaped with his title, with an assist to a returning Great Khali. I fully expect that the “Modern Day Maharaja’s” opponent for “SummerSlam” will be announced tonight, and I expect it to be John Cena.
Will AJ Styles continue his pursuit of the United States Championship?
Following a controversial loss at “Battleground,” I anticipate that the rivalry between AJ Styles and Kevin Owens for the United States Championship is not over. My guess is that a rematch will be announced for “SummerSlam,” with an added stipulation involved. And I would be completely fine with this.
How will The New Day’s title win change Team Blue’s Tag Team division?
Call them your 3 TIME CHAMPS! After successfully capturing the “Smackdown Live” Tag Team Championships at “Battleground,” The New Day now reign over the blue brand’s division. That being said, I won’t be surprised if they continue their feud with The Usos up through “Summerslam,” and this would be fine, as they put on the match of the night at “Battleground,” in my opinion.
Who blindsided The Fashion Police?
While I was hoping for a conclusion to this storyline at “Battleground,” I’m excited that the search for Breezango’s attacker is continuing. This has been some of the most entertaining television in recent WWE history, and you can bet that “The Fashion Police” will continue to get more clues tonight.
