Over the past 35 years, Wrestlemania has turned into one of the greatest spectacles in the world of entertainment. And because of this, it has become a pop culture phenomenon; something that everything wants to be a part of.
This includes special correspondents; some of which will be involved in this year’s show. But who will they be?
That question was answered on tonight’s episode of Raw, as Stephanie McMahon announced that Colin Jost and Michael Che will serve as the special correspondents for Wrestlemania 35. It had been previously reported that the two would be the special guests on the show that evening.
Check out the official announcement below:
Jost and Che are the hosts of “Weekend Update,” which is a news parody segment that airs each week on “Saturday Night Live.”
Editor’s Opinion:
While SNL has become too political for me in recent years, Jost and Che are actually pretty funny. They will be able to bring their own brand of humor to the show and create another pop culture outreach opportunity for this incredible sports entertainment spectacle!
