There’s always an answer. WWE Raw emanated from Indianapolis this week, the home of current commentator Pat McAfee. However, McAfee was absent from the announce booth and replaced by The Miz. But why was this?
According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, McAfee missed the show due to a legitimate last-second family emergency.
McAfee had both Michael Cole and Triple H on his show earlier in the day, where they discussed everything from Raw being on Netflix, Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, and more. Also, McAfee and Triple H announced a historic partnership between WWE and Indianapolis, which will bring WrestleMania, SummerSlam, and the Royal Rumble to Lucas Oil Stadium.
Editor’s Opinion:
When he didn’t come out on Raw, I immediately thought that it had something to do with the Wyatt Sicks storyline. You would think that would be the case because he is from Indianapolis, and was so excited about the show being there. Combining that with the historic announcement from earlier in the day, and you had a recipe for something magical. We hope that everything is OK with his family and that he is back on television as soon as possible!
