The Ring General returns. The last time that Gunther was on WWE programming, he was losing the Intercontinental Championship to Sami Zayn at WrestleMania 40. We have not seen him since, but when can we expect that to change?

WrestleVotes had the following to say regarding Gunther:

Following his IC title loss to Sami Zayn at WM, Gunther is scheduled to return to TV this Monday on RAW.

The Ring General was the longest Intercontinental Champion in WWE history, holding the title for 666 days before losing it to Zayn at WrestleMania. It is unknown what he will be doing upon his return.

Editor’s Opinion;

A lot of people have been saying that they thought that his losing the championship at WrestleMania was the wrong decision, but I completely disagree. They’ve also said that losing it to Sammy Zane was not the best idea ever, but I disagree. That was a great story that everyone wanted to see. As far as Gunther, I believe that this will launch him into the next level and into the World Heavyweight Championship picture. He definitely deserves to be there!
