WWE has announced two new matches that will take place during the “SummerSlam” kickoff show this Sunday.

The first will be a return 12-man tag team match from this past week’s episode of “Smackdown Live.” The Usos will team with The Hype Bros and American Alpha, to take on the team of Breezango, The Ascension and The Vaudevillians. Below is the press release regarding the match:

The SummerSlam Kickoff just got much bigger.

In a return match from Tuesday’s SmackDown Live, The Usos, American Alpha & The Hype Bros will meet Breezango, The Ascension & The Vaudevillains in a gigantic 12-Man Tag Team Match on Sunday’s Kickoff.

The six duos lit up the blue brand earlier this week with a jaw-dropping bout that ended in victory for The Usos, American Alpha & The Hype Bros after Jason Jordan & Chad Gable connected with Grand Amplitude against The Vaudevillains’ Aiden English. Now, the 12 Superstars gear up for round two at The Biggest Event of the Summer.

SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan previously indicated that the vacuum left by championships lost to Raw during the Brand Extension Draft — presumably, WWE Tag Team Titles included — will be filled in the not-too-distant future. Could a strong performance on the Kickoff put one or more teams in the catbird seat as Team Blue’s upper management contemplates plans for the Tag Team division?

The other match features the team of Sami Zayn and Neville taking on The Dudley Boyz. Below is the press release regarding that match:

Former NXT Champions Sami Zayn & Neville will battle the most decorated team in sports-entertainment history, The Dudley Boyz, on this Sunday’s SummerSlam Kickoff.

Associates dating back to their days on the independent circuit, The Underdog from the Underground and The Man That Gravity Forgot have forged a thrilling alliance from time to time, both in WWE and NXT, despite proving themselves primarily in singles competition. With kindred daredevil styles inside the ring, Zayn & Neville not only pose a dangerous threat to the best of teams, they also embody the energizing spirit of WWE’s New Era.

Yet, can their makeshift alliance, exciting though it is, make a dent against the unparalleled experience of 10-time Tag Team Champions Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley? The legendary brawlers form Dudleyville boast a distinct size and strength advantage over their opponents, and are likely eager to reassert themselves as a dominant force in the Tag Team division at the expense of Zayn & Neville.
