Two New Matches Announced for “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn”

On tonight’s episode of “NXT,” two more matches were officially announced for the upcoming “NXT Takeover: Brooklyn” special coming up on Aug. 22.

After Baron Corbin squashed another opponent, Samoa Joe came out and said that Corbin couldn’t dominate him. Following a brawl, a match was announced by General Manager William Regal between the two for “Takeover”.

Also, Bayley defeated Becky Lynch to become the No. 1 contender for the NXT Women’s Championship, and will be facing champion Sasha Banks at the event. Banks will also be competing the following night at “SummerSlam,” as well.

Here is the card as it stands:

– Kevin Owens vs. Finn Balor (c) for the NXT Championship in a Ladder match

– Bayley vs. Sasha Banks (c) for the NXT Women’s Championship

– The Vaudevillains vs Blake and Murphy (c) for the NXT Tag Team Championship

– Jushin “Thunder” Liger vs. Tyler Breeze

– Samoa Joe vs. Baron Corbin

– Apollo Crews will make his debut

– Hideo Itami may also be making an appearance, although that’s not yet confirmed at this time
