3. Seth Rollins vs. John Cena vs. Brock Lesnar at “Royal Rumble”

 

In one of the only things that the Slammys got right, Seth Rollins, John Cena and Brock Lesnar delivered the Match of the Year on the first pay-per-view of 2015.

John Cena and Brock Lesnar were already solidified as the two top stars in the company. However, the story of this match was the coming out of Seth Rollins, as his performance was nothing short of remarkable. Although he did not win the title, he showcased his ring ability in this grueling contest, and proved that he belonged as one of the top guys in the company.

From this moment on, you knew that 2015 was going to be the year of Seth Rollins. There is a reason that he was named Superstar of the Year, and his hard work did not go unnoticed…
