It appears we will be seeing “The Phenom” one more time on television before his battle with “The Beast”.
The Undertaker is being advertised for the Aug. 17 edition of “Monday Night Raw”, which is the final episode before taking on Brock Lesnar in the main event of “SummerSlam”. It will be interesting to see the crowd reaction he gets, as “Raw” will be taking place in Minneapolis, which is the hometown of “The Beast Incarnate.”
Last week on “Raw,” Paul Heyman and Lesnar cut a promo about their match, which former play-by-play man Jim Ross called “one of his best ever”. “The Phenom” will no doubt be responding to this, and will give his final words before their epic rematch.
Undertaker will be looking for revenge after his loss to Lesnar at “WrestleMania XXX”, ending his undefeated streak at the “granddaddy of them all”.
It has also been reported that Undertaker will continue to be on WWE programming after “SummerSlam”, so perhaps this feud will not be ending at “the summer’s biggest party”.
Editor’s Note:
Chills were sent down my spine when the Undertaker returned to WWE TV the night after “Battleground”. It had been a really long time since I had heard a live crowd so silent while a promo was being cut. I cannot wait for his appearance on “RAW”, and their match at “SummerSlam”!
