This is only a rumor, so take it for what it’s worth. WrestleMania will have a different feel this year, as the event will be held over two nights and with fans in attendance for the first time since March 2020. However, with the show being as long as it’s going to be, some extra matches will be needed to fill out both nights.
According to a tweet from WrestleVotes:
Full disclosure, I don’t know where discussions stand at this point… However, I do know that several people, including some high up personnel, have talked about having Finn Balor & the NXT Championship on the WrestleMania card this year. Especially considering its 2 nights.

Might this be what we are in for?
Editor’s Opinion:
This makes total sense to me and I think that it should happen. With the NXT Women’s Championship being defended at last year’s WrestleMania and Edge making his appearance on the show this past week, it’s clear that WWE believes that NXT is right on the cusp of being as relevant as Raw or Smackdown. Having Finn Balor defend the title would be a huge boost for him and his career, plus it would give the WWE fans another match that they would desperately want to see.
