A little change can be good for everyone. It had been previously rumored that a WWE Draft was coming, in order to help with the company’s upcoming move to FOX on October 4.

WWE confirmed the news tonight during the 2019 Clash of Champions pay-per-view, and posted the following about it on WWE.com:

There’s about to be a Draft in here!

The destinies of WWE Superstars will be determined during a two-night WWE Draft taking place live on Friday Night SmackDown on Oct. 11 on FOX and Raw on Oct. 14 on USA Network.

On both nights of the Draft, Superstars from Raw and SmackDown will appear along with personalities from FOX and NBCUniversal programming to announce select picks that will determine the rosters of each distinct brand.

This move may eliminate the ‘Wild Card’ rule that was instituted by Mr. McMahon a few months ago:

We will continue to monitor this story and provide updates as they become available to us.

Editor’s Opinion:

This is all well and good and we had a feeling that this was coming. What I really want to know is: why is the Intercontinental Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura, not pictured on the graphic for the draft? Does the company really not think that highly of him??
