According to a report from PWInsider, “The Man” will be in New York City this weekend to promote the release of the upcoming video game. 2K Sports will be hosting a major launch and media event on Friday, and Goldberg is expected to be a part of it.
However, It should be noted that Goldberg is appearing under the banner of 2K Sports, and not WWE. According to F4WOnline.com, he is not slated to appear at any WWE events during his time in New York, but may be in talks with the company while he’s in town.
After the initial trailer for the game was released, there were rumors that WWE was teasing a match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar. “The Beast” tweeted out the following last night, in regards to Goldberg and WWE 2K17:
I’ve got a special message for @Goldberg regarding #WWE2K17. @WWEgames @HeymanHustlehttps://t.co/SMuc295Fc3

Editor’s Note:
While I do expect Goldberg to make another appearance on WWE program in the future, I don’t think it will be anytime soon. I expect him to take more of a similar approach to Sting, and will slowly be integrated back into the WWE family.
