The Ryan Center, on the campus of the University of Rhode Island in Kingston, has announced that their scheduled “205 Live” event on Friday, January 19 has been cancelled. They are citing routing and scheduling issues as the cause for the cancellation, and are offering full refunds for all tickets.

The announcement was made via Twitter, and you can see the tweet below:

This was the first of three scheduled Live Events for the Cruiserweight Division, which were scheduled to take place on three nights, from January 19-21 in Kingston, Rhode Island, Lowell, Massachusetts and Poughkeepsie, New York, respectively.

The cards were also going to feature a match between “Woken” Matt Hardy and Bray Wyatt.

Below is a clip of TJP and Akira Tozawa from last week’s episode:

Editor’s Opinion:

This is not a good sign. There were already questions about whether attendance at the Live Events would be worth hosting the show, and cancelling the first one that was scheduled does not bode well for the remainder of the tour.
