[asd2]All that….for this? This week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” needed to be a big deal. After two weeks off for the Best of 2017 shows, it was time for the show to come back strong. The show featured four title matches and a Loser Leaves Town match between James Storm and Dan Lambert. So how did this week’s show do?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s show drew a .07 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 309,000 viewers. These numbers are up 40% and 8% from last week’s .05 rating and 285,000 viewers. The last original episode drew a .02 rating and 161,000 viewers. This week’s show was headlined by LAX vs. OVE for the Tag Team Titles and also featured Eli Drake defending the World Title against Alberto El Patron.

Here’s what Drake had to say after retaining the title.

Eli Drake Retains Global Championship & Comments | #IMPACTICYMI Jan. 4th, 2018

Opinion: The numbers are good, but at the same time they need something else going forward. The problem here is they had four title matches and one gimmick match in the same night so what are they supposed to put together to keep the numbers up? It should be interesting to see whether this is the norm or if things are going to go back down in the coming weeks.

What did you think of this week’s show? How high can they keep the numbers? Let us know in the comments below.
