Many of those questions will be answered beginning next week.
FOX Sports will begin airing a new, multi-series documentary on Punk, and his journey to his first UFC fight. Entitled “The Evolution of Punk,” the series will begin airing on Monday night, at 9:30 PM EST, on the FS1 Network.
Below is some information regarding the series:
It’s been nearly two years since former WWE superstar CM Punk signed with the UFC and made his transition from professional wrestler to professional fighter.
The journey has been filled with a lot of ups and downs, including a pair of injuries that forced Punk to continuously push back his debut.
Those delays were further burdened by a laundry list of fighters and fans who said Punk had no business fighting in the UFC with absolutely no previous experience in mixed martial arts.
“Everybody has this misconception that pro wrestling is fake. All the people in pro wrestling are weak and can’t fight,” Punk says in the new trailer for the show that just debuted on Tuesday.
The multi-part series will follow Punk from the day he signed with the UFC back in 2014 all the way to his debut at UFC 203 in Cleveland when he faces young upstart Mickey Gall.
The first episode that debuts on Monday will not only showcase Punk on his first day of training with his teammates at Roufus Sport in Milwaukee, but also reveals his initial sparring session from 2015.
Nothing is left out as Punk attempts to make the improbable switch from sports entertainment to real fighting.

I really don’t care about this, and I hope he gets pummeled at UFC 203.
