According to a new report from Deadline, Netflix will be renewing their series “Ultimate Beastmaster” for a 3rd season. In addition, they will be bringing in former WWE superstars CM Punk and “Bad News” Barrett to be hosts for this season.
Punk and Barrett were once a part of the group known as Nexus, but eventually had a falling out. You can see that below:
“Ultimate Beastmaster” is a reality TV series that Deadline defines as the following:
Each episode follows competitors taking their shot at running “The Beast,” which the streamer calls “one of the most physically demanding obstacle courses ever devised.” A “Beastmaster” will be crowned at the end of each episode, and in the final episode of the season, the nine individual winners from each episode will compete against one another for the chance to become the Ultimate Beastmaster.
The nine countries taking part are the United States, the U.K., Australia, Germany, Brazil, Italy, France, South Korea and Mexico. It should be noted that Punk will host the shows in the United States, while Barrett will host in the U.K.
Punk was last seen on WWE programming in 2014, and has since tried his hand in the world of MMA. Barrett, on the other hand, was released by WWE in 2016.
Editor’s Opinion:
I don’t know much about this show, but Punk and Barrett are entertaining figures. This would probably work out well!
