When long-tenured WWE members and former football players have a disagreement, sometimes it leads to problems. According to the latest issue of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, a major argument took place between Pat McAfee and Michael Cole backstage at WrestleMania 35.
Apparently, McAfee, who was working the kickoff show, was told to not wear ‘jorts’ as a part of his attire; therefore, he came out with tuxedo pants that were cut into shorts. When Michael Cole, who is in charge of the announcers, saw him in the shorts backstage, he started yelling at him in front of many of their colleagues for looking unprofessional.
As a result, McAfee nearly quit right there on the spot; he event went to his dressing room and started packing his things, as if he were leaving. When somebody saw him doing this and asked about it, he said, “You can tell Michael Cole to go f*** himself. I’m leaving. I’m not getting punked and yelled at like a child in front of everybody like that.”
Once Vince McMahon was told about it, he called McAfee in and McAfee apparently had a photo of Lebron James wearing the same type of shorts with a suit. McMahon told McAfee that he was cool with him wearing them and Cole was then forced to apologize.

Editor’s Opinion:
Really, Michael Cole? I get that you’re trying to be professional, but there are way better ways to handle it.
