In the past, we have seen the WWE unveil statues of hall of famers and legends at Wrestlemania.

In previous years, we have seen them made of Dusty Rhodes, Bruno Sammartino, the Ultimate Warrior, and Andre the Giant. But this one has been unveiled in an early leak by the model who posed for it.

Model Sean Perry created a faux pas when he unveiled that he was posing for a statue of the Nature Boy Ric Flair in his prime for Wrestlemania 33. The leak, posted on Facebook with the caption, “Sooooo, the other day a studio did a full body mold of me for a statue of Ric Flair (in his prime) for the WWE Hall of Fame,” has since been confirmed.

As is typical, the statue will be unveiled at WWE Axxess. Flair, 67, joins Sammartino as the only other living legend to have the statue erected while still alive. The Ultimate Warrior and Dusty Rhodes each had their statues created one year after their deaths, with Warrior’s being created in 2015 and Rhodes’ in 2016. Flair also has the distinguised achievement of being inducted twice into the WWE Hall of Fame, once by himself in 2008 and once in 2012 as part of the Four Horseman.
