Maybe this time. Brock Lesnar is gearing up for “Wrestlemania XXXIII” and that means he’ll be doing a few more house show matches to get ready for the biggest show of the year. As a rule he faces mostly fellow power wrestlers in such matches and his next official opponent will be exactly the same.

According to PWInsider by way of 411mania.com, Lesnar will face the Big Show on February 17 at a house show in Dallas, Texas. The two of them have a long history, dating back to “Survivor Series 2002” when Big Show defeated Lesnar for the WWE Championship. Their most recent match took place at “Brock Lesnar: Live at MSG” where Lesnar defeated Big Show on October 3, 2015 when Lesnar defeated Big Show in just over four minutes.

This feels like your standard Lesnar house show match with him easily dispatching someone who looks physically imposing in a matter of minutes. I actually preview this method over having someone like Rusev or Randy Orton, as in someone who could be used almost immediately, losing. Big Show isn’t going to fall any further with a loss to Lesnar so let him take the fall instead.
