Plans for a new WWE stable that began on the July 21 edition of “Monday Night Raw” may be put to a halt before they ever get a chance to gain traction.
Xavier Woods aligned himself with the team of Kofi Kingston and Big E after the pair lost a match to Ryback and Curtis Axel. That was supposed to be the beginning of a new Nation of Domination-esque faction that, at one point, was supposed to include Mark Henry as well.
The group did not appear on “Raw” on Aug. 4, nor were they mentioned by the announce team.
Big E was squashed by Rusev during “Friday Night Smackdown” on Aug. 8. Neither Kingston or Woods were ringside.
In fact, Kingston worked as a face during WWE’s recent tour of Australia.
The group could return on Aug. 11 during “Raw” as there are still no challengers for The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championship at “SummerSlam,” if a title match is added.
Editor’s Note
Well that was fast. The group had potential but recent signs point towards everyone going their separate way. I hope that’s not the case and plans were just put on hold rather than nixed completely.
