WWE has done everything in its power to erase Hogan from history, whether it’s removing his merchandise from the online store, cutting footage of him on the WWE Network, or even eliminating his spot in the Hall of Fame.
Through it all, Hogan doesn’t have a negative thing to say about the company, which he expressed when approached outside by TMZ.
Hulk Hogan — I Still Love WWE… And I Wanna Be Trump’s Running Mate
Per TMZ.com:
First, the WWE thing … it’s been more than a month since Vince McMahon wiped all traces of Hogan from the website after reports surfaced that he used the N-word in a racial rant years ago.
Even after several black wrestlers and celebs vouched for Hulk — saying he’s not a racist at heart — Vince has refused to bring him back into the WWE universe.
So, how does Hogan feel about being blackballed? Check out the clip … he views the situation more as a temporary “family” conflict and joked that the only “hard feelings” he’s going to have is “when I get [Vince McMahon] in the ring again.”
Hogan made several controversial remarks during a sex tape with Bubba the Love Sponge’s ex-wife Heather Clem, which landed him in a lot of hot water.
WWE officials eventually came in the know of what Hogan said, terminating their partnership on July 23.
Editor’s Note
What else is he going to say, right? Hogan is one of the most important figures in professional wrestling history, and as long as there’s a chance he can rekindle his relationship with WWE, he’s going to say all the right things…. after saying all the wrong things.
