It seems like only a matter of time until some of NXT’s top female performers make their way to the main roster.

The Bella Twins, specifically WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella, could use more competition, considering she’s held the gold for over 215 consecutive days.

During a recent appearance at WizardWorld ComicCon, the two sisters were asked which members of NXT they’d like to face.

“I would love to square off with Sasha Banks,” said Nikki. “Divas champ vs. NXT champ.”

She then compared it to what’s currently running on television between NXT Champion Kevin Owens and United States Champion John Cena, who is involved in a romantic relationship with Nikki.

“Bailey, Charlotte, like there’s just a lot of great ones down there [NXT],” Brie said.

“Nattie and I about a year ago had a match against Sasha and Charlotte at MSG. It was awesome,” added Nikki. “It was really fun to work them, so I’m just dying for some of those girls to get up here.”

Editor’s Note

WWE seems to be teasing that one of the NXT ladies will be debuting shortly to join Paige’s fight against the Bellas. Charlotte is the safe choice, if only because there doesn’t feel like much else for her to do down in developmental.
