In a response to a fan’s question on his personal Twitter account (@TheRealRVD), Rob Van Dam confirmed that he will be returning to World Wrestling Entertainment before SummerSlam on August 17.

His answer was very vague, so RVD could be reappearing on WWE television at any point from now until August.
The former World Champion last competed at WWE Battleground on Oct. 6 of last year, losing to Alberto Del Rio.
