A Triple Threat Match For the WWE Title is Slated for WrestleMania XXX

A Triple Threat Match for the WWE title is slated for WrestleMania XXX. According to a new edition of the Figure Four Weekly newsletter, penned by Bryan Alvarez of F4Wonline.com, the latest WrestleMania lineup that he received states that the WWE World Heavyweight Championship bout that will take place on April 6 in New Orleans is now set up as “Batista vs Orton vs ?”

Alvarez goes on to say that the question mark listed on the lineup allows the possibility of Daniel Bryan getting in the championship match at WrestleMania XXX. As we at WrestlingRumors.net previously suggested in various editions of Wrestling Rumors Radio and “WRESTLING WARM-UP,” there are two ways that we could see Bryan get inserted into the championship match in New Orleans.

Bryan could earn the opportunity of challenging Batista and Randy Orton by proving he is an “A+ player.” The easy way for this to happen is for Bryan to defeat the man who has constantly held him down, “The Game,” Triple H. With CM Punk away from the company, the proposed Triple H vs Punk match is not going to happen. This is why Bryan and Triple H began building towards a bout between each other during the Feb. 24 edition of “Monday Night Raw.” Alvarez agrees with this possibility in his report.

Another way Bryan could get inserted into the championship match is by WrestleMania XXX host, Hulk Hogan. While this avenue is much more of a stretch, Hogan could arrive on the scene just before Batista and Orton hook up and want to give the fans, “what they want to see…brother.” Alvarez also says that Hogan’s involvement in the angle could also be possible.

The main event was not the only match listed on the lineup they received however, as other bouts were penciled in on the card. Apparently, the card for WrestleMania XXX could look a LOT like this…

WWE officials likely understand that the New Orleans crowd would not respond well to Batista and Orton facing off in a singles match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which is why they are looking at making it a Triple Threat. If they hold off on inserting another competitor in the main event, then it is possible that Triple H vs Daniel Bryan, or Undertaker vs Brock Lesnar could close the show.

If Bryan vs Triple H takes place early on the card, then it is quite possible that Bryan will face off against “the Viper” and “the Animal” and capture the WWE title.
