Mysterio recently signed a deal to work for Mexico’s AAA promotion, which was confirmed during a press conference on March 3. His first match will be on March 15 at the Rey de Reyes show in Guadalajara, Mexico.
His working relationship ended with World Wrestling Entertainment on Feb. 28 after a lengthy dispute over his contract.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that Mysterio and WWE officials have fought over the usage of his name outside of the company as well.
