Although WWE “Survivor Series” is taking place in his hometown of St. Louis, there’s a strong possibility that Randy Orton will be kept off the card entirely.
As previously reported here at WrestlingRumors.net, Randy Orton will be the lead in WWE Studios’ upcoming action flick “The Condemned 2: Desert Prey.”
Because of his filming schedule, Orton will be missing several weeks of television in the month of November.
The only show he’s currently advertised for is “Monday Night Raw” in Buffalo on Nov. 3.
PWInsider.com is reporting that WWE may write Orton off during the show through an injury angle to explain his prolonged absence.
Local advertisements in St. Louis have pulled Orton as well, leading one to believe that Orton won’t work the pay-per-view.
There’s always a chance that he could be given the day off to compete, but that remains to be seen.
I recently predicted that Orton would be a member of Team Authority in the main event in my latest prediction piece for the site.
Editor’s Note
I don’t see how WWE could get away with keeping the hometown boy off of one of their major pay-per-views in favor of a movie. The WWE Universe would not be happy.
