A possible return to the WWE for former TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James may be on the horizon.

According to a report by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, James would be interested in returning to the company where she won five Women’s Championships, if they’d be willing to have her back.

She was fired the last time, which was a very unpopular move among  fans at the time. There were several issues involved, none of which had to do  with her ability as a performer. She was let go due to an outside the ring  things including an incident that happened on a European tour where she was late  and held up the bus from leaving. It was blamed on behavior issues strong enough  that she lost her job. – Meltzer

James’ deal with TNA IMPACT Wrestling recently expired. She reportedly told officials with the company that she wasn’t willing to re-sign.
