Jon Stewart, host of “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart” on Comedy Central, will be making an appearance on the March 2nd edition of “Monday Night Raw.”
Per WWE.com:
It was far from a “Moment of Zen” Thursday night on “The Daily Show” when Seth Rollins appeared during the final segment of the Comedy Central series and delivered a face-to-face message to the Emmy Award-winning talk show host.
“Why don’t you shut your mouth and bring it, pal?” Rollins asked a visibly shaken Stewart.” “How about you show up, this Monday night on Monday Night Raw?”
What will transpire when Stewart comes to Raw, where Rollins will no doubt be anxious to settle their rivalry once and for all?”
It appears that WWE will be running some sort of an angle with Rollins and Stewart heading into WrestleMania 31.
With Rollins slated to face Randy Orton at the big event, there’s always a possibility that Stewart could find himself involved in the match, possibly standing in the corner of “The Viper.”
Editor’s Note
Jon Stewart is one of the biggest names in show business. I don’t see anything wrong with having a genuine WWE fan with the immense following he has getting involved with the company this close to WrestleMania 31. It will bring new eyes to the product to see what kind of shenanigans Stewart ends up in. He’s leaving his show later this year, so we might as well get our Stewart fix in while we can.
