It was originally reported last week by former WWE Superstar Sean Waltman (X-Pac) that Joanie Laurer (former WWE Diva Chyna) had confronted Triple H (her ex-boyfriend) at the funeral of the late “Rowdy” Roddy Piper.
PWInsider’s Dave Meltzer has more details concerning this story, which he recently posted on his site’s message boards.
Meltzer notes that the aforementioned confrontation between Laurer and HHH was Laurer simply approaching him as he was leaving the funeral. Apparently all Laurer said was no more than one sentence.
HHH reportedly told others in WWE that the whole conversation lasted a mere 20 seconds.
He noticed someone filming Laurer for a potential documentary, which is why the face-to-face was so brief.
Waltman originally said that Laurer crashed Piper’s funeral, but eventually backtracked on his statement, saying how he was informed that she was indeed extended an invitation to appear.
Laurer said during a recent podcast appearance that there were plans for her to get a run as World Wrestling Federation Champion. Meltzer says that wasn’t the case, and is “pure fantasy” on her part.
Editor’s Note
This story needs to end already…..
Seriously, though. Everything Laurer touches or says becomes first-rate nonsense news these days. With all due respect to her situation and what she did at the funeral, perhaps it was best to avoid Hunter all together and let whatever be, be. Her heart seemed to be in a good place, but there’s a time and a place for everything, and a funeral is certainly not one of those moments to apologize to an ex. Here’s hoping this is the last we hear of this.
