On Wednesday May 6 at 1 p.m. ET, the roster—or at least part of it—for Jeff Jarrett’s Global Force Wrestling promotion will finally be revealed.

The press conference will take place at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas, as announced through the Global Force Wrestling Twitter account:

A special guest will be at the unveiling, but that individual is unknown at this time.

Jarrett announced his intentions to create a new wrestling promotion shortly after leaving TNA Wrestling in 2014.

While the company has yet to put on a show of its own, GFW already has several business relationships with other promotions around the world, including New Japan Pro Wrestling, Revolution Pro Wrestling in England and Riot City Wrestling in Australia.

The first Global Force Wrestling show will be held on Friday night, June 12 at The Ballpark at Jackson in Jackson, Tennessee, as part of GFW’s “MiLB Grand Slam Tour.”

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter recently reported that Jarrett was going after former WWE talent to be a part of the promotion, including The Dudley Boyz, Shelton Benjamin and Chris Masters to name a few.

Editor’s Note

More wrestling is always a good thing. However, Jarrett will need to land one or two big name stars to truly give GFW the boost it needs to succeed. If the starpower isn’t there, it will be a lot harder to attract new fans.
