The founder of Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is set to take his place in the Hall of Fame.
TNA president Dixie Carter recently announced on Twitter that she inducted Jeff Jarrett into the TNA Hall of Fame during the recent television tapings for “Impact Wrestling.”
SPOILER: So proud to have inducted @RealJeffJarrett in to the TNA Hall of Fame tonight. No one more deserving.

The ceremony will air during either the July 28 or Aug. 5 episode on Destination America.
Jarrett, who now operates the Global Force Wrestling promotion, is back working with TNA, although what the end game is between both parties is still unknown.
WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross recently chimed in on a potential TNA/GFW partnership, which you can read by clicking here.
Jarrett is currently scheduled to appear at TNA “Slammiversary” on June 28 as one of five competitors (Drew Galloway, Eric Young, Bobby Roode and Matt Hardy) in a King of the Mountain match to determine TNA’s new King of the Mountain champion.
He’s been in several of those matches in the past, winning in both 2004 and 2006. Jarrett’s nickname during his run as a singles wrestler for the company was also “King of the Mountain.”
While he never held the TNA World Championship, Jarrett was a six-time NWA World Champion when TNA and NWA had a working relationship.
The only other members of the TNA Hall of Fame are Sting, Kurt Angle and Team 3D (Bully Ray and Devon).
Editor’s Note
Jarrett is clearly deserving of a spot in TNA’s Hall of Fame. He created the company, for crying out loud.
