For the first time in the history of TNA Wrestling, the company will be holding their “Bound for Glory” pay-per-view outside of the United States.

The event will take place at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan.

No matches have been set, but early plans call for TNA and Wrestle-1 to compete in several interpromotional matches.

Wrestle-1 wants their top four performers on the show, but the amount of Japanese wrestlers could be even more.

The results of the matches would likely be split as to not favor one promotion over the other.

Seiya Sanada, a former TNA X-Division Champion, has come over from Wrestle-1 and worked in the United States for a little over seven months.

Editor’s Note

Give credit where credit is due to TNA for taking a major risk and having their No. 1 event overseas. The company draws larger crowds in international markets, so it makes total sense.
