Former WWE superstar CM Punk (real name: Phillip Brooks) is ready to make the most of his free time by (possibly) embarking on a couple of new projects, as he teased Sunday afternoon on his personal Twitter account @CMPunk.
Starting a band, a podcast, and a fire. One of these is true. (Okay, two).

Punk is an avid listener of punk, rock and hardcore music. Lars Frederiksen, the lead singer of Rancid, is one of his best friends.
In fact, Punk will be a red carpet host for the Gibson Bands AP Music Awards on July 21.
Colt Cabana, another close friend of Punk’s, has his own podcast called “Art of Wrestling.” Perhaps he could give his straight-edge buddy some pointers on how to make it big in the world of podcasting.
Punk’s current WWE contract is set to expire on July 17. There are no plans for the company to renew his deal.
Editor’s Note
A CM Punk podcast would be absolutely huge. It would be the ultimate platform for him to say whatever he wants about whatever he wants to talk about. A band, though? I’ve never heard him sing.
