During a media session for “UFC 185: Pettis vs. Dos Anjos” on March 13, former WWE superstar and current UFC fighter CM Punk offered his thoughts on current WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar possibly returning to MMA.
Per Ariel Helwani’s Twitter account @arielhelwani):
At a media gathering with @CMPunk. He believes if UFC put his debut and Brock’s return on the same card it would break UFC’s PPV record.

And if you’re wondering, Punk would like to see Lesnar return to UFC when he becomes a free agent in a few weeks.

Lesnar has even offered to train Punk, as he revealed during an interview with Wisconsin News TMJ4 back in February.
“I’ve talked to [Brock Lesnar] and he’s offered all his help, even if it’s just to bug him with a stupid question,” Punk said.
The relationship between Lesnar and World Wrestling Entertainment Chairman Vince McMahon is reportedly on shaky ground as the two sides fail to see eye-to-eye on a contract.
WWE, UFC and even Bellator are all in the running for Lesnar’s services once his WWE contract expires.
Editor’s Note
Punk and Lesnar being on the same UFC card is……..best for business. Wrestling and MMA fans would congregate to see two of the biggest and most controversial figures in both sports making their debut/return to the octagon.
