At WWE “SummerSlam” on Aug. 23 at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York, the match that was deemed too big for WrestleMania by Paul Heyman will finally go down.
Looking at the upcoming WWE schedule won’t help you decipher which superstar will be coming out on top, though, as neither “The Beast Incarnate” nor “The Phenom” is currently booked to appear the night after the pay-per-view on “Monday Night Raw.”
Both legends will be appearing on the go-home edition of “Raw” on Aug. 17 to finish the build to their colossal encounter.
Despite not being scheduled to appear on “Raw,” it’s being reported that Undertaker will be on WWE programming in some capacity after “SummerSlam.”
Undertaker returned to WWE at “Battleground” on July 19, costing Lesnar his opportunity to regain the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins.
He’s currently the heavy favorite to win the match, per 5Dimes.com.
Editor’s Note
The match at WrestleMania 30 wasn’t the greatest bout you’ve ever seen, but the sloppiness and poor flow can easily be blamed on Undertaker suffering a concussion early on. This is their chance for redemption.
