In a recent interview with wrestling journalist Sam Roberts, WWE superstar Bray Wyatt discussed a number of topics, including what’s in store for his character and why he’s been kept off television.
“What comes next from Bray Wyatt will peel the skin back from everyone’s forehead. This is nothing. It’s a joke. [The character] evolves on itself. There is no character man. It happens naturally.
“Missing a PPV? Come on, you think I’d just miss a PPV for no reason?”
Wyatt also said how he doesn’t go to his father (Mike Rotunda) for advice on his character and what he should be saying, but as was the case throughout a majority of the interview, Wyatt stayed in character with his responses.
“I don’t really care for anyones opinion on what I should do. I am my own entity. I don’t need help and that’s the truth.”
Rumors have circulated in recent weeks over The Wyatt Family undergoing some sort of transition or evolution with their gimmick. That may or may not include former NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension joining the stable.
Video packages have aired during episodes of “Monday Night Raw” that have primarily focused on Luke Harper and Erick Rowan, leading the WWE Universe to believe that The Wyatt Family may be parting ways.
Editor’s Note
You’ve peaked my interest, Mr. Wyatt. I can’t wait to see what’s in store for The Wyatt Family in the coming months. It feels like something big is just around the corner.
