Two more big names from TNA’s roster are set to leave the company.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Awesome Kong and Taryn Terrell will be leaving TNA with their respective contracts expiring over the weekend.

They will finish up their runs at TNA “Slammiversary” on June 28 when Kong teams with Brooke Tessmacher in a Handicap match against Terrell and The Dollhouse.

Terrell is the current holder of the TNA Knockouts Championship, which she’s held for 270+ consecutive days – the longest reign in TNA history.

Awesome Kong returned to TNA in January after a five-month hiatus which saw her have a short run with World Wrestling Entertainment.

Other names that have reportedly left the promotion in recent weeks include Samuel Shaw, Low-Ki, James Storm, MagnusGunner and Austin Aries.

Editor’s Note

This isn’t good. There were high hopes that TNA would be able to continue on past September when Destination America is reportedly set to cut ties with the company. Even if TNA management can somehow find a new network to house “Impact Wrestling,” who will be left to perform at that point? Everyone is leaving while they still can, perhaps because they know that it’s a sinking ship.
