According to a report from VarietyWWE Studios is partnering with a British production-financing company named Richwater Films for two upcoming projects. The two movies, “Eliminators” and “Rampage,” will be action-thrillers that may even feature various WWE Superstars and Divas.

“Eliminators” will be directed by James Nunn, best known for his work on “Tower Block.” The project will star actor Scott Adkins, in addition to former WWE Intercontinental Champion Bad News Barrett. The film sees a former United States federal agent come out of hiding in the witness protection program, after he unexpectedly finds himself on the run from one of Europe’s deadliest assassins. Production for the movie will begin in London during the latter stages of spring, which will likely lead to Barrett missing some time on WWE programming in late spring.

For now, no WWE Superstars or Divas have been announced to star in “Rampage.” Production on the film will begin in late 2015, also taking place in London.

WWE Studios President Michael Luisi commented on the new partnership:

“As a major new player on the British independent film scene, Richwater Films exudes a professional zeal that is highly compatible with the work we do here at WWE Studios. Both of our organizations are dedicated to creating films that engage and excite.”
