On Friday, April 24, six developmental talents were released by WWE, according to a report from PWInsider. The six developmental talents whose WWE careers were cut short consisted of Dustin Mueller, Leyvonna Zakari, Laszlo Vandracsek, C. Denzel Freeman, Tony Briggs, and Courtney Freeman.
Dustin Mueller, a bodybuilder from Chicago, was brought in by in 2014. He had no prior wrestling experience, making a few live event appearances for WWE as a security guard.
Leyvonna Zakari, a model and actress from California, signed on with WWE in April of 2014. While she did not wrestle in front of a live crowd, she was used for ring-announcing duties for a few non-televised NXT live events.
Laszlo Vandracsek, too, was brought in by WWE in 2014. He is a Hungarian-born athlete, who was part of the United States National Bobsled team.
C. Denzel Freeman also signed with WWE in 2014. He had come from the collegiate wrestling world, where he is expected to make a return. Though he trained at the WWE Performance Center, he never wrestled for NXT.
Tony Briggs, better known as Brian Reid, was a towering 275 pound wrestler out of California. He joined WWE in late 2013, wrestling occasionally at NXT live events. In a few televised matches, Briggs was squashed.
Courtney Freeman began working with WWE in 2014. He is an amateur wrestler out of the University of the Cumberlands in Kentucky, who did not wrestle in front of a live crowd during his time in developmental NXT.
