Early Info and Matches Announced for NXT Takeover May 20

On Thursday, April 23, WWE taped one April edition and two May editions of “NXT” from Full Sail University. Within the tapings, a great deal of information for the next NXT live special was revealed, according to results from PWInsider. For one, it was confirmed that the next “NXT Takeover” event will air live on the WWE Network on Wednesday, May 20. As previously noted, as part of a previous lawsuit, WWE revealed its NXT live event schedule through 2015.

Additionally, the main event for the next “NXT Takeover” was revealed. In a rematch from “NXT Takeover: Rival,” Kevin Owens will go one-on-one with Sami Zayn. On Feb. 11, Owens captured the NXT Championship from Zayn at “NXT Takeover: Rival,” beating his historied rival via referee stoppage. On May 20, Zayn will be the one looking to take the title away from his long-time foe.
