Sarah Backman, an eight-time World Arm Wrestling Champion recently revealed that she had signed with WWE and was finally able to begin training at its WWE Performance Center in Orlando today, November 19.
Backman wrote the following on her Instagram account on November 19:
“Today, it’s exactly 7 years ago I started armwrestling – Nov 19 2006. Pretty funny that I started WRESTLING almost the same date (yesterday, Nov 18th) 7 years later. It’s gonna be very interesting and exciting to see where I’m at in another seven years! #wwe #armwrestling #anniversary #wrestling #wwediva #loveit”
Backman who is just twenty-one years of age is from Stockholm, Sweden and is also popular for her work as “Spirit” in Sweden’s version of Gladiators. She began arm wrestling at age fourteen and is also an eleven-time Swedish Arm Wrestling Champion.
