Rey Mysterio Returns to Raw

Rey Mysterio has returned to WWE television. As we previously reported, it was confirmed that Mysterio would be at Monday’s episode of “RAW,” but it was uncertain as to if he would be seen on TV. Mysterio revealed himself as the fifth member of the babyface tag team of Cody Rhodes, Goldust, The Usos, and himself that will face The Shield and the Wyatt Family in a traditional elimination tag team match Sunday night at Survivor Series.

Mysterio has been out for months due to a knee injury that he suffered during a spot with Mark Henry, and has been cleared to compete again for a few weeks. Triple H did not want to rush his return however, and kept him off of WWE TV until now.

Mysterio ran in to join the baby faces of the Rhodes brothers, the Usos, Daniel Bryan, and CM Punk face off against The Real Americans, The Wyatt Family, and the Shield following the main event on “Monday Night Raw.” He delivered a double 619 and then celebrated with the faces as the show went off the air.
