On Friday, Oct. 24, the WWE team at 2K Sports announced yet another new game mode for “WWE 2K15.” With the brand new “MyCareer” mode being exclusive to the current-gen consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, this new mode will be exclusive to the past-gen consoles, the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. With that version of the game releasing on Tuesday, Oct. 28, fans will be able to get their hands on this new mode in the coming days.
The new game mode is titled “Who Got NXT,” and will be similar to the “Attitude Era” and “30 Years of WrestleMania” game modes in “WWE ’13” and “WWE 2K14” respectively. The mode will consist of five chapters, which coincide with five current or past NXT stars: Sami Zayn, Adrian Neville, Rusev, Corey Graves, and Bo Dallas. Each chapter has the respective star compete in four matches that are done in sequential order. Like the similar game modes of the past two title releases, there will also be bonus match stipulations within the chapter’s matches.
Upon finishing the chapter, the respective NXT star will be unlocked as a playable character on the main roster screen. Additionally, upon finishing all five chapters, “Proving Ground” matches will be unlocked. Similar to “Defeat The Streak” in “WWE 2K14,” the user will get to play as one of the five NXT stars, and go head-to-head with John Cena, the cover athlete of the game. If the user can defeat Cena, the NXT stars will be able to go one-on-one with any other WWE Superstar in “Proving Ground.”

Nice added feature for those who prefer to buy the game on the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3.
