As we previously reported, Big Show did not return to Monday Night Raw on July 22, 2013 due to a nagging knee injury, even though his return was advertised. According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Big Show could not get medically cleared to make his return. Big Show has not returned to in-ring action since his match with Randy Orton at Extreme Rules.

The report also revealed that the plans for Big Show currently have him teaming with Mark Henry to face The Shield in a handicap match at SummerSlam. His role on the July 22 Raw was going to be making the save for Mark Henry, when The Shield attacked The World’s Strongest Man. However, due to Big Show not getting cleared, The Usos were chosen to make the save.
