As we previously reported, WWE developmental talent Kassius Ohno was released from his WWE contract. While the release may be surprising to some, Ohno was reportedly in hot water with WWE officials earlier on in the year and even its COO, Triple H. With the release, the man best known as Chris Hero has started taking independent bookings.

In addition to a Pro Wrestling Syndicate match with Gregory “Hurricane” Helms on November 16, Pro Wrestling Guerrilla announced that Hero will be apart of its All Star Weekend that will take place in December. This will likely be the first batch of independent promotions showcasing Hero as many other promotions will likely attempt to book the former Ring of Honor star.
