In the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer newsletter, it provided an update regarding the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame class of inductees. The newsletter is reporting that Paul Bearer will definitely be one of the inductees for the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame class, as it is highly expected within WWE. Additionally, another star of the caliber of Ultimate Warrior and Jake Roberts, the first two inductees into the class for the 2014 WWE Hall of Fame, is expected to be added.
In terms of women being inducted, we previously noted that Stacy Keibler may be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. However, according to Wrestling Observer, Lita is receiving some serious consideration for an induction.
As previously reported, the WrestleMania I main event match may be inducted, making it the first match in the WWE Hall of Fame. However, as of this writing, there is not much of an update on whether the match will be inducted. Although the match may not be inducted, WWE is keen on inducting Mr. T, even though he has turned WWE down on multiple occasions.
Additionally, there is a feeling within WWE that this year is a make-or-break year for Danny Hodge. Hodge is most known for his work in the wrestling industry in the 1960s while in New Orleans, the home of all WrestleMania activities, making it an ideal time for Hodge to be inducted. Hodge has appeared on “Monday Night Raw” in both 2005 and 2012, honoring fellow Oklahoma native, Jim Ross.
