John Cena has always been known for his tremendous work with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, granting over 400 wishes for the foundation, by far the most of any person. Though, on June 4, Cena was able to use a different avenue to make one of his adoring fan’s wishes comes true, Twitter.
Brittany Depew, a soon to be 21 year-old, recently graduated high school, yet all of her wishes had not come true. She still wanted to meet her hero, John Cena. Through Twitter an image she had taken of herself in the hospital, holding up a sign with a heart that said I love you John Cena, became viral, eventually reaching Cena.
Cena was then able to grant Depew’s wish, making a video for her. In the video, Cena wished her a happy early 21st birthday, singing the Happy Birthday song. Cena also congratulated her on her recent graduation.
Below is video of the story, including Cena’s video and Depew’s story:

Editor’s Note
I know it’s cliche to say this, but you really have to respect John Cena for his everlasting, enormous work with children, teenagers, and young adults caught up in a difficult time. Among the many celebrities in the world, Cena is one of the few who always makes time for those less fortunate. If you can’t take solace in that or appreciate him, then I feel sorry for you.
