With WrestleMania 31 on the horizon, a lot of WWE stars have been doing media rounds to promote “The Show of Shows.” The Associated Press recently previewed WrestleMania 31, featuring quotes from the likes of WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and Sting.
“The Icon” Sting, whose first WWE match will see him square off against Triple H, talked briefly about everything finally coming together:
“It was now or never, that was really it. With hindsight, after rubbing shoulders with the WWE and all the different departments, it’s like, ‘Wow, man, I should have done this a long time ago.'”
Continuing, Sting was asked about his future in WWE upon his first, and perhaps last, match with the company. There have been rumors that Sting could very well face The Undertaker at WrestleMania 32, but Sting admitted his first WWE match will likely be his last:
“I’m feeling like this is probably going to be my last one. We’ll see how everyone reacts. If I’m asked to do one more at Survivor Series or maybe even WrestleMania next year, at this point, I would consider it. But realistically, this is going to be my last one.”

Editor’s Note
It would be a shame to see Sting’s first WWE match be his last, but just to see him compete in WWE is something many never thought would happen.
