Sting Joins WWE in Teasing Monday, Sept. 22

On Friday, Sept. 19, WWE posted a cryptic tweet, in which it said, “you’ve waited long enough… Prepare yourself for the next generation. 9/22/2014.” Since then, many people have speculated on many different things WWE could be teasing, seeing that Sept. 22 is a Monday.

Some believe that WWE will be launching a “Nexus 3.0” on the day’s showing of “Monday Night Raw,” while others think it has to do with “WWE 2K15.” For the former viewpoint, fans look at recent reports that NXT talent will be used on all WWE programming moving forward. For the latter viewpoint, with NXT stars being all but confirmed for the game, some believe that WWE will simply announce that NXT stars will be playable in “WWE 2K15.” On the same day, it has already been announced that the first gameplay trailer for “WWE 2K15” will be launched.

In addition to WWE, and even Roman Reigns, Sting is now teasing something on Sept. 22.

Sting makes no mention of a “new generation,” unlike Reigns and WWE. It’s anyone’s best guess as to what Sting will be involved in on Sept. 22. As always, fans have already begun to speculate that Sting will debut in WWE during “Monday Night Raw.”

I still think this is all “WWE 2K15” related, and WWE is just blowing smoke on anything monumental. Let’s hope I am wrong.
