Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has continued to expand upon his successful acting career here in 2014. In the past two months, he landed roles in a new “Baywatch” film, in addition to a DC Comics project. An exclusive report from Variety  has shed some light on The Rock’s newest future project.

According to the website’s report, The Rock will be starring in a buddy action-comedy with comedian and actor Kevin Hart, who was a special guest host on “Monday Night Raw” this June. The name of the project is “Central Intelligence,” and it will be distributed by New Line Cinema. It will be directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber, who is known for directing “We’re The Millers” and “Easy A.”

“Central Intelligence” will start off with a class reunion, in which Rock and Hart will catch up. Hart will be portraying an accountant, who was a star athlete in high school. On the other hand, Rock is a high school loser who has become a CIA contract assassin. The two will then team up, with Rock persuading Hart to help him devise a plan to sell classified military information.

Editor’s Note

2014 has been a pretty good year for The Rock. He seems to keep adding more and more roles as the months go by.
