The show kicked off with WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins and J&J Security. Rollins cut a promo about taking down both Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. Within it, the champion talked about what transpired on “Monday Night Raw” the past two weeks, with he and The Authority standing tall over the beasts. Dean Ambrose, kendo stick in hand, interrupted, chasing Rollins and J&J away. In closing, two matches become official for the show: Seth Rollins vs. Roman Reigns and Bray Wyatt vs. Dean Ambrose.
1) Bray Wyatt def. Dean Ambrose- In a solid back-and-forth bout, Wyatt got a clean victory with “Sister Abigail.”
2) R-Truth def. Adam Rose
3) Ryback def. Mark Henry- Before the match, Mark Henry cut a promo about how he will beat Ryback so hard his hairline will recede further. Henry couldn’t put his money where his mouth was, losing to Ryback thanks to a “Shell Shock.”

4) Brie Bella def. Naomi
5) Prime Time Players def. The Ascension
Next, Rusev and Summer Rae entered to address what transpired on “Monday Night Raw.” They apologized for sinking to the level of Lana. Rusev said he is over her, stating he has Summer Rae now. In closing, Rusev had a strong message for Dolph Ziggler. The “Bulgarian Brute” said when he lays his eyes on Ziggler, he will eat his heart and then rip out his insides, hanging them in his backyard.
6) Roman Reigns def. Seth Rollins via disqualification- The match was called due to interference from J&J Security. Dean Ambrose then made his way to the ring, chasing away Rollins and Jamie Noble. With Joey Mercury still left in the ring, “Smackdown” closed with Ambrose and Reigns ganging up on Mercury. He received kendo stick shots, a “Superman Punch,” and even a spear.
